Accessibility

Australis 4WD Adventures will endeavour to aid customers and their carers to access the tours on their request.  However, due to lack of storage, wheelchairs, walking frames and the like cannot be accommodated.  Customers will need to be able to get in and out of a 4WD and walk on uneven terrain.

Refund Policy

If you are affected by COVID travel restrictions, or if the tour can not proceed due to local COVID restrictions, you will be refunded.

Australis 4WD Adventures reserves the right to cancel or alter any tour at any time. We will determine if any refund is due if this action occurs.

Tours operate on demand for minimum numbers. Tours need a minimum of 2 adult passengers or 1 adult passenger and 1 tag-along vehicle to confirm departure, we will endeavour to meet our required minimum numbers. If minimum numbers are not met and it is necessary to cancel tour, we will refund full payment or provide an alternative date.

If you cancel a tour with more than 72 hours notice prior to your departure time we will refund you. If you cancel a tour with less than 72 hours notice prior to your departure time or you fail to take up a tour; this will result in a 100% forfeiture of the tour fare.

Australis 4WD Adventures will cancel or postpone tours due to unforeseen circumstances; the passenger/s will be offered a full refund or an alternative date.

Insurance

It is the drivers’ responsibility to ensure their vehicle is adequately insured, roadworthy and is registered.

Travel Insurance

Australis 4WD Adventures takes all due care but accepts no responsibility for injury, illness, death, theft or other loss or damage to any person or property sustained. We strongly recommend guests carry comprehensive travel insurance that includes cancellation cover.

Tour Itinerary

Australis 4WD Adventures reserves the right to change itineraries in unforseen circumstances.

Age / Licence requirements

All driving participants must be 17 years or over. All driving participants must hold a valid and current Motor Drivers Licence applicable to the class of vehicle they will be driving.

Alcohol

Please note, no alcohol is to be consumed by participants for the duration of any course.

Assumption of Risk and safety declaration

You acknowledge that:

  • We reserve the right to withdraw any person who in our opinion is likely to endanger themselves or others. We also reserve the right to cancel any activity if we become concerned for any reason for your safety or that of any other person.
  • You must follow our instructions and use any safety equipment provided at all times. For the above reasons you accept the inherent dangers and risks associated with the proposed course and the accompanying risk of injury, death or property damage or loss.

Disclaimer

With any outdoor activity, there is an element of risk. The tours promoted by Australis 4WD Adventures sometimes operate in remote areas. Risks in undertaking these activities could include, but are not limited to, poor health due to adverse weather conditions, personal injury from bush walking over uneven terrain, not listening to given instructions, injury resulting from a vehicle accident or property damage.
