Established in Melbourne in 2015, Australis 4WD Adventures was born from a passion to share the remarkable Victorian High Country with like-minded adventurers.
We have been travelling the High Country and outback roads, from Melbourne to Broome and everything in between for over twenty years and we are constantly excited by what we see… and we are sure you will be too!

Your guide
At home in the wild outdoors, Bruce fell in love with the Victorian High Country as a young Scout where he would often go camping. This love affair continued into his adulthood as he is still an enthusiastic hiker, camper, four wheel driver and fly fisher.
As a 25 year member of the Victorian Scout Four Wheel Drive Service Unit, he gained a lot of knowledge about the area running both day trips and extended trips. Not just limited to the Victorian Hills, he’s explored the furthest corners of the country in some of the roughest terrain – always with a grin on his face.
Grateful for his own opportunity to explore the bush and muck around as a kid, he’s been a Scout Leader for almost thirty-five years, introducing teenagers and children to nature and how to respect and enjoy it. His enthusiasm to show people the hidden gems in our environment took an exciting turn as he worked as a tour guide in the Kimberley Ranges for El Questro.
